Josephine Wang started ballet at the age of 6, and has since fallen in love with the art of dance. Throughout her years as a dance student, she has participated in numerous dance performances, and national events.
Josephine Wang started teaching officially in year 2000. She has since attained her RAD teaching certificate with a high distinction, and has been sending in students for both RAD and CSTD ballet and jazz examinations. Her works ‘Polka’ & ‘Arc-en-ciel’ have both attained the 1st Prize award at the Asia Pacific Dance competitions in 2004 and 2005 respectively. Her student Germaine Tng has also attained 2nd prize in the Under 13 classical solo category in 2006.
Over the years of teaching, Josephine’s students have also won scholarships and medal awards at summer schools. Some of her students have also gained access to good secondary schools through the direct school admission scheme.
Josephine is also a civil engineering graduate from the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. She is currently studying the Masters in Business Administration full time.
